Tony is an Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation with a sub specialty in Corporations Law. He has 15 years of experience representing clients in complex commercial disputes often involving Directors, Shareholders and litigation in the State and Federal Courts of Australia.

Tony is an Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation with a decade of big firm experience working both autonomously and as part of a large team on multi-million dollar, complex commercial disputes.

He has an active practice advising on corporate governance issues, shareholder disputes, partnership disputes and advising business owners with all aspects of their business dealings.

Tony acts for clients in the mining services industry and the financial services industry and in investigations by ASIC and other regulators as well as white-collar crime prosecutions.

He also has experience representing liquidators including insolvency appointments arising from the mining services, financial services and building and construction industries.

Tony regularly advises clients in relation to financial services issues and Corporations Act claims, contractual claims, trade practices, torts, negligence, debt recovery and insolvency appointments.

Qualifications

Tony is an Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation, with a sub specialty in Corporations Law.

Tony holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Australian National University and a Bachelor of Laws/Diploma of Legal Practice from the University of Newcastle. Tony has also completed the ARITA Insolvency Education Program obtaining an Advanced Certificate in Insolvency.

Tony is admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and of the High Court of Australia and has practiced in Victoria for a number of years.
