Isabella Hudson is an enthusiastic and diligent member of our specialist Commercial Litigation Team.

Isabella supports our Senior Solicitors and assists clients with a broad range of commercial disputes including contract and shareholder disputes, intellectual property infringement claims, professional negligence claims, insolvency related claims, defamation and debt recovery.

She also has a keen interest in relation to assisting businesses to think and act proactively to avoid legal problems before they arise including by protecting intellectual property and making effective everyday contracts with customers.

She brings fresh ideas to the Commercial Litigation Team and is highly motivated to continually progress and develop her skills as a Solicitor.

Isabella joined the Roberts Crosbie Mortensen Lawyers team as a Law Clerk in mid-2022 whilst finishing her law degree and transitioned into her current role following her admission as a Solicitor in February 2023. Before this, Isabella worked as a Law Clerk with two large mid-tier national law firms and also gained practical experience volunteering at the University of Newcastle Legal Clinic.

This can include corporations and individuals which are involved in contractual or other commercial disputes; company directors, employers or employees; and individuals who have suffered loss or damage.

Isabella aims to provide every client with a positive experience, whilst aspiring to attain the best possible outcome for her clients in a timely and cost-effective manner.

She has a personable and kind demeaner that makes her endearing to her clients.

She strives to ensure that she communicates legal concepts in plain English so that her clients have a clear understanding of the key issues relevant to them and the recommended way forward, whether they have experience in the legal field or this is their first exposure to legal disputes.

Qualifications

Isabella completed a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Diploma of Legal Practice from the University of Newcastle in 2022. She also holds a Bachelor of Business (majoring in Human Resource Management), having graduated in 2020.

Isabella is admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

In her spare time, Isabella enjoys getting out in nature, especially near the water, and spending time with friends and family. Isabella also enjoys being creative and is often trying out new hobbies which promote mindfulness and wellness.
